At Altus Home Support LLC, we believe in transparent, straightforward billing for our private pay home care services in Columbus. Below you'll find everything you need to know about our payment process.

Our Private Pay Process

We've designed our billing to be simple and hassle-free for you and your family.

  1. Service Agreement: Before services begin, we establish a clear service schedule and payment agreement.

  2. Weekly Invoicing: You will receive a detailed invoice via email every Monday for the previous week's care.

  3. Easy Payment: Settle your invoice easily online, by phone, or by mail. Payments are due upon receipt.

*Note: A 4-hour minimum is required for all non-live-in shifts. A holiday surcharge (1.5x standard rate) applies on major holidays.*

How to Pay Your Invoice

We offer several convenient and secure payment methods.

1. Pay Online (Recommended & Fastest)

Click the "Pay Now" link in your email invoice to be taken to our secure payment portal. We accept all major credit/debit cards and ACH/bank transfers.

2. Pay by Phone

Call our office during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) to pay securely over the phone with a credit/debit card.

Financial Policies

To ensure we can continue providing uninterrupted, high-quality care, please review our key financial policies.

  • Payment Due Date: Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. Accounts are considered past due after 7 days.

  • Late Fees: A late fee of 1.5% per month will be applied to balances over 30 days.

  • Automated Payments: Simplify your life! Set up automatic recurring payments by completing our Payment Authorization Form. This ensures your invoices are always paid on time.

  • Cancellation Policy: We request at least 24 hours' notice for shift cancellations. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a 50% charge of the scheduled time.

A: In accordance with Ohio law, our personal care services are exempt from sales tax. Companion or sitter services may be subject to tax; this will be clearly itemized on your invoice if applicable.
